WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE TEST PER FAMILY?

To prevent potential embarrassment GeoGene will not analyse the DNA of anyone who has a close relative, such as a brother or sister, who has already been tested. If the results were different this would indicate that they did not share the same father or mother. As such we have no wish to conduct more than one test. However with the relative’s consent we are happy to create a wallchart based on the previous analysis. If you would like us to confirm whether we are prepared to do a test please give details of your family connection to the person already tested, for example she may be your mother's sister's daughter.
